HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME

        The department of Adult Health Nursing  and the students of 2^nd year B.Sc. Nursing IV Semester students organized health awareness programme  as we observed the " World Lung Cancer Day'' on  01.08.2024 based on the theme " Stronger together" at FMHT  in Mother Theresa Ward from 2:30 pm  to 3:30pm. A total of 20 students explained the important warning signs of cancer, awareness on Lung Cancer, risk factors, types, Management, and preventive patient Education. A variety of AV Aids were used in dissemination of information to the In -patients. The programme was attended by 28 patients and their relatives including staff members. Mrs. Jacintha Valder coordinated the event and attended by other faculty members as well. The programme was appreciated by beneficiaries and received positive feedback. The students' representatives Ms. Akshatha and Ms. Gleesha welcomed the gathering and gave Vote of Mthanks.
